Honours & MSc

There are often opportunities available in the ECAB Lab for MtA students interested in pursuing an Honours degree or MSc and experiencing hands-on research in the field and/or laboratory. Dr. Kurek supervises students in both Environmental Science and Biology with a preference to mentor students who are interested in freshwater ecosystems and are considering either graduate studies or a career in natural science. Projects are designed to align ECAB Lab research needs and funding with individual student interests and abilities. If you would like to discuss these opportunities please contact Dr. Kurek. High-achieving students may be competitive for one of ~50 Independent Student Research Awards provided annually at MtA.
